Skiathos

Skiathos is known for its clear blue and sandy beaches. It has over 60 beaches with each of them standing out for its uniqueness. The most famous beaches of Skiathos are Chrysi Ammos, Kounaries and Banana. More isolated beaches are Mikri and Megali Aselinos, Mandraki, Elia and Agistros. Apart from the beaches of the island you can also explore the Byzantine and medieval museums. It is also worth visiting Bourtzi as well as the house of the Greek writer Alexandros Papadiamantis.

Aselinos Beach

On the west side of Skiathos, 14Km from the main town, lies Aselinos, one of the most beautiful beaches of the island, where the crystal clear blue water and the lush green vegetation mesmerise visitors.
Aselinos is an attraction for visitors and locals alike and you can find sun beds, umbrellas and a Greek restaurant. We are confident that you will relax and enjoy the beach.
The beach is accessible by car/motorcycle or one of the excursion boats that bring visitors to Aselinos from Skiathos town almost every day.

Koukounaries Beach

Just 16Km southwest from the main town is one of the most famous beaches in Skiathos Koukounaries. It is known for its white sand and its pine trees forest from which the region took its name. It is considered as one of the best beaches in Greece. Currently, Koukounaries is a popular tourist destination with numerous hotels, camping sites, restaurants, bars and cafes.

Banana Beach

Located just 13Km south-east of Skiathos Town. This bay has been renamed because of the shape of its two beaches: Big Banana and Small Banana. It was originally named Krassa beach. The two beaches are separated by some rocks. Megali (Big) Banana it is an organized sandy beach unlike the Mikri (Small) Banana which is a quieter unorganized nudist beach.
